Los Angeles, CA — Four years ago, Monét Anaïs walked into a studio believing she was on the verge of her big break. A meeting that seemed like the start of something major led her straight into the studio the very next day, where she began recording her first Christmas songs. The result was a heartfelt, elegant collection of music, but time wasn’t on her side.

Despite completing the tracks, only a soft launch made it out before the season ended. The songs went largely unheard, and soon after, Monét stepped away from the spotlight. What began as a short break turned into a three-year hiatus as she wrestled with questions that many artists face — how to make it all work, how to stand out, and how to sustain herself creatively and financially in a demanding industry.
“I thought I was fine, on the right path, just moving the way most artists do and ready for my break at any moment,” she admits. “Suddenly it hit me — I was living in a delulu world. No one was coming to save me. It was up to me to get to where I wanted to go.”
That realization became the turning point. In 2025, Monét came back sharper, more confident, and fully in control of her brand and vision. After releasing her standout singles “Fact of the Matter” and “DOWN” earlier this year, she’s closing out 2025 with purpose and holiday cheer — officially releasing her long-awaited two-song holiday EP, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.
The EP features both an acoustic and a house version of the classic, each capturing a different side of Monét’s artistry. The acoustic version highlights her soulful vocals and intimate delivery, while the house version infuses her signature R&B-meets-dance energy — the perfect soundtrack for cozy nights and festive celebrations alike.
And as if that weren’t enough, she also dropped a sultry, modern take on “Baby It’s Cold Outside” featuring her longtime friend StaJe on November 21, kicking off the holiday season in style.
The re-release is more than just music; it’s a full-circle moment — proof that timing matters less than persistence and self-belief. “I’ve learned that everything you want starts with you,” Monét says. “No one else can create your moment. You’re in charge of where the future leads.”
Monét Anaïs is ending the year on a high note — not waiting for the spotlight, but creating it.
