Beyonce Adds New Business Venture to the Resume

Queen Bey has blessed us all with an exciting surprise! On Tuesday, May 16, Beyoncé took to Instagram to announce that she is launching her very own haircare line. She posted a carousel of pictures which showed her at a beauty vanity, styling her hair with a curling wand. Other images showed an array of unlabeled products which seemed to be spray bottles of golden liquid. She went on to state in the final slide that her ‘mysterious project’ is officially underway.

“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” Beyoncé began. “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.” 

The “Single Ladies” artist continued: “I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.” 

Naturally, the post caused quite a stir, with fans all commenting their thrilled reactions. “I am ready to spend my moneyyyy”, one fan wrote, while another joked, “She’s about to take all our coins again”. Beyoncé’s exciting announcement comes shortly after the kick-off of her highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour. Opening with her beloved 2003 track, “Dangerously in Love”, Beyoncé stunned the crowd with a custom metallic catsuit made by Alexander McQueen.
